Liberation Latex- London

Today I fell in love with three items in Liberation (known online as Libidex), two of which I will show you here. The third I can only link you to, as they did not have my size *sigh.

The Hollywood Tease Dress

Though the price is quotes as 350 online, the instore price (which includes matching pasties and a striped mini top hat) was 425.
Anyhow, this was a BEAUTIFUL dress. I don't usually go for breast-showing numbers as I don't have the perky fake tits to do it. But this just called to me. It's a full length gown in black latex with baby pink stripes hand cut and glued to the bodice, which gives it a wonderful tight, corsetting effect around the midsection. I would LOVE to own this dress.

Next up, the Silver Goddess Dress   - £139.95
This was a beautiful mini dress made of metallic silver latex. In case you don't know me in person, let me tell you now- I LOVE metallic silver and space agey stuff. So you can see why I fell for this one...

And last, but in fact my FAVOURITE of my discoveries today was the Golden Space Girl Dress, shown here in a nurse colors.... We found it in antique gold with black trim, and it was like Barbarella had reached down from space and touched me... inappropriately. I must own this dress. Size L, please.

Sparkly! Fairy Goth Mother Corsets

I happened to find myself in the neighborhood of Lulu and Lush this afternoon. I had work to do, but in the true spirit of procrastination I decided to try on a few glittery corsets instead.

I was curious how the red sequin number (see the poll in previous post) actually fit me. At £155 I can't imagine it's of the highest quality so I wanted to if it felt cheap, or if the sparkles made me forget to care. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in the red and black. However they had a similar corset I could try on for fit. Turns out, both corsets are covered in sequins and although I wasn't immediately attracted to the zebra sequin one, it really grew on me. From a distance, it is FABULOUS.

What do you think?

The Sequin Wonder £155

This one was a 28" which was too big for me, so the fit wasn't as nice as the other corset below, which was nice and tight.

Zebra Sequin Wonder £155       This one fit much better, and cinched me down to a 27" waist easily. Given half an hour in it, I could have gone down to 26". The pattern is a bit gaudy, but my inner drag queen loves that about it. In all honesty, these are not the highest quality- as I expected. But if you're not a corset snob (and frankly I can't afford to be) they are perfectly suitable. Also... SEQUINS! If it were up to me, I'd get them both. Where's a wealthy benefactor when you need one?

Fetish Wear For Broke Students Fundraising Poll!

VOTE!

Which of these two corsets should my "Fetish Wear for Broke Students Fund" (see left) be raising funds for? I am torn between the cheaper red sequin corset, and the catwoman latex corset that is on sale at Libidex until the 14th of Feb. Due to generous donations I have about half of the sequin corset price already covered!

Which do you think is a better goal?

Fluevog Hoof Boots

Gold Fuck-Me Boots  $469

Maybe I'm cheating, but these boots by Fluevog did in fact come home with me. The Boyfriend made sure of that (thank you boyfriend with a job!) These hoof-like boots are the sexiest fucking things I've ever had on my feet- and I say that having worn a LOT of fetish shoes in my time. The gold wedge comes to a razor blade edge at the heel. Not only are they surprisingly comfortable for such high heels, Fluevog uses good quality leather. These are my new babies and I will love them until the day I die.

Latex Catwoman Mask- TAKEN HOME!

Oh my god, can you believe it? I actually bought something at Liberation, the mother of all London latex stores. I couldn't pass this up, it was too much fun. And at a mere £35, it was a steal. The one downside? A sweaty nose.

If you've never been to Liberation, it's quite an experience. A tiny store just off the heart of Covent Garden, it's easy to walk by without ever knowing what is inside. As soon as you walk in, the smell of latex hits you. You walk past the curiosities down to the cement basement which is stocked full of every sort of latex item you could imagine. And then some. I will try and get in there and take some photos for you soon. ;)

Fairy Goth Mother Corset

When I am in London, which is most of the time these days, I like to stop by Fairy Goth Mother to gush over their corsets. Though not as well made as Dark Garden, they have a lot of FUN designs such as this one, which I have lusted after for about three years. They only had a size 28" in the store, and I am usually a 26", but I had to try it on anyway.... (Wow my fringe was short in this photo)
